If you become a client of Rietek for custom app development
Rietek acts as a Data Processor under POPIA/GDPR when handling any personal data on your behalf.
- We process data only on your documented instructions.
- We implement technical measures (encryption, access controls).
- Staff are bound by confidentiality.
- We assist with data subject requests and breaches.
- Data is deleted/returned at project end.
- Sub-processors (e.g., Firebase, AWS) are pre-approved and under equivalent agreements.
A full signed DPA will be provided with every client contract.
