Our story
We built it under our own name on purpose.
Rietek (pronounced “ree-tech”) takes its name from our Dutch family
name “van Riet” and “tek”. Heritage matters to us — even when the work
is code, networks and product design.
We are not a faceless agency. We are a small team with decades of
combined experience across project management, telecommunications,
geographic information systems, web development and mobile apps.
That mix shows up in what we own today: Ontek for connectivity,
Full Alert and Easy as Pie on the app stores, and selected apps
and websites we are proud to show.
Every engagement is handled personally — no outsourcing layers,
no account-manager theatre. Dutch directness meets South African
warmth: we say what we mean, we ship what we promise, and we stay
available after launch.
