Data Processing Agreement

If you become a client of Rietek for custom app or website work, Rietek may act
as a Data Processor under POPIA / GDPR (where applicable) when handling personal
data on your behalf.

  1. We process data only on your documented instructions.
  2. We implement technical measures (encryption, access controls) appropriate to the work.
  3. Staff are bound by confidentiality.
  4. We assist with data subject requests and breaches as required by the engagement.
  5. Data is deleted or returned at project end as agreed.
  6. Sub-processors (for example hosting or cloud providers) are used under
    equivalent confidentiality and security expectations.

A full signed DPA can be provided with a client contract where required.
